.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 250 AM CST Sun Nov 9 2025

A large mid/upper trough continued to dig over the Upper Mississippi
Valley area resulting in H85 CAA across the Central Plains, most
prominent early in the period. This will yield gusty north winds and
below normal temperatures today with some areas struggling to reach
40. A ridge of high pressure will settle over the area tonight
leading to strong radiational cooling. Lows will fall into the teens
in parts of central and south central KS.

Sfc high pressure will translate east allowing southerly flow to
return on Monday but temperatures will remain below normal for early
Nov.

Tue-Fri...Moderating temperatures can be expected through the period
with dry weather conditions prevailing. Above normal temperatures
will return by Tue withe highs reaching the 70s late in the week.

A vigorous mid/upper trough is progged to move into the Rockies over
the weekend bringing increasing chances for showers and storms as we
move into next weekend.
