...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN MARSHALL...
MADISON...SOUTHEASTERN LIMESTONE AND EAST CENTRAL MORGAN COUNTIES
THROUGH 615 PM CDT...

At 529 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Ardmore to Huntsville to near Owens Cross
Roads to near Woodville. Movement was southwest at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 40-50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Huntsville, Madison, Athens, Arab, Redstone Arsenal, Meridianville,
Owens Cross Roads, Gurley, Triana, and Marshall Space Flight Center.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
