...CLUSTERS OF THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING HEAVY RAINFALL WILL IMPACT
WESTERN LAUDERDALE...WESTERN COLBERT AND WESTERN FRANKLIN COUNTIES
THROUGH 800 AM CDT...

At 703 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking multiple clusters of
thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall across far northwest Alabama.
The storms were moving south at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Heavy rainfall with rates of 1-1.25" per hour, reduced
         visibility and ponding of water on roads.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Significant ponding of water on roads. Minor flooding of
         low-lying areas with poor drainage, as portions of the
         advisory area have received between 2-3" of rain overnight.

Locations impacted include...
Red Bay, Cherokee, Vina, Waterloo, Malone, Pogo, Mt Hester, Allsboro,
Maud, and Riverton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive
your vehicle through flooded roadways.
