...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT MARSHALL...SOUTHEASTERN MADISON
AND SOUTHWESTERN DEKALB COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM CDT...

At 540 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Owens Cross Roads, or 13 miles southeast of Redstone Arsenal, moving
southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Albertville, Boaz, Guntersville, Crossville, Owens Cross Roads,
Grant, Geraldine, Douglas, Lakeview, and Union Grove.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
