Runoff from recent rainfall is expected to cause river levels to remain elevated on the Paint Rock River. The Paint Rock River at Woodville. * At 5:00 AM CST Monday the stage was 13.5 feet. * Action stage is 13.0 feet. * Flood stage is 15.0 feet. * Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.1 feet this afternoon. * Impact...At 14.0 feet...The Butler Bottom Lowlands near the river are flooded. High waters are approaching County Road 20 north of the town of Paint Rock. All persons with interests along the river should monitor the latest forecasts, and be prepared to take necessary precautions to protect life and property from rising river levels.
