...River Statement For The Paint Rock River at Woodville...

Runoff from rainfall caused river levels to rise rapidly on the Paint
Rock River. Although it is not expected to reach flood stage, some
nuisance flooding of lowlands may still occur.

The Paint Rock River at Woodville.
* At 2:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 13.9 feet.
* Action stage is 13.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river crested at 14.1 feet earlier today and is now
  falling. It is expected to continue to fall, falling to a stage of
  12.8 feet early Friday afternoon.
* Impact...At 14.0 feet...The Butler Bottom Lowlands near the river
  are flooded. High waters are approaching County Road 20 north of
  the town of Paint Rock.

All persons with interests along the river should monitor the latest
forecasts, and be prepared to take necessary precautions to protect
life and property from rising river levels.Additional information is
available at www.weather.gov.
