.DISCUSSION...
Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected
again today across north Alabama. The highest chances will
be in north central and northeast Alabama. Brief gusty winds,
lightning and locally heavy rainfall will be the primary
hazards. Transport winds will remain below 10 mph and smoke
dispersion will be generally poor today and fair on Thursday.
Seasonably hot and drier weather is foreseen by late week into
the weekend.
Fog potential over the next few days: Patchy late night and early
morning fog will be possible.
Potential for Red Flag Conditions: Not expected.
