Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
219 AM CDT Tue May 13 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Medium to high (60-80%) chances for showers and storms remain in the
forecast for today, with wetting rains likely in many locations. Thus,
wet fuels will continue to create poor burning conditions. Much lower
rain chances Wednesday and Thursday will allow most locations to begin
to dry. Breezy SW winds and mixing heights over 5 kft will allow for
good dispersions on Wednesday.

Fog potential over the next few days: Patchy fog will persist through
mid morning, especially in sheltered valleys.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None at this time.
