.DISCUSSION...

A cold front will drop slowly south into the Tennessee Valley
today into Thursday, stalling out in central to northeast Alabama.
Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will develop
this afternoon, dissipate this evening, and redevelop again on
Thursday, mainly south of north Alabama. Gusty outflow winds,
frequent lightning and locally heavy rainfall will occur with the
thunderstorms today. Northerly transport winds will remain below
10 mph the next two days with fair to generally good smoke
dispersion.

Fog potential over the next few days: Patchy late night and early
morning fog is expected.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: Not expected.
