.DISCUSSION...

Upper level ridging will build further southward into the area,
keeping showers and thunderstorms at bay on Monday and Tuesday.
Heat will build with 20 foot winds remaining light and variable.
Transport winds will be from the east on Monday between 5 and 10
mph. Mixing heights will be well above 7000 feet in the afternoon.
Afternoon relative humidity values should drop to around 50 percent.

Not much change is expected on Tuesday. This could be the hottest
day of the week. 20 foot winds will remain light and variable.
Transport winds will shift and become southeasterly at less than 5
mph. Mixing heights will again climb well above 7000 feet in the
afternoon. Afternoon relative humidity values should drop to
between 40 and 45 percent.

Fog potential over the next few days: Patchy fog or areas of fog
are possible late tonight into early Monday morning and Monday
night into early Tuesday morning. Some could be locally dense,
especially in areas that received heavy rainfall this afternoon.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None are expected with such
high afternoon relative humidity values.
