Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
157 PM CDT Sat Oct 19 2024

.DISCUSSION...

RH values are forecast to be near critical indices the next two
days with min afternoon RH around 25-30% across the forecast area.
Very dry fuels will likely make ignition easy however anything
that burns will be inhibited by poor dispersions from very light
transport winds.

Fog potential over the next few days: Patchy fog is possible the
next two nights with best chances along waterways and in protected
valleys.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: Despite low min RH near 25%,
winds will not reach Red Flag Criteria.
