.DISCUSSION...

Southwesterly 20 foot winds around 10 mph gusting to between 15
and 20 mph are possible today. Mixing heights will climb to
between 4500 and 6000 feet in the afternoon. Southwesterly
transport winds between 15 and 20 mph will allow for good
dispersion. Relative humidity values will drop to between 20 and
25 percent this afternoon.

Lighter southerly to southwesterly 20 foot winds around 10 mph
are expected on Thursday. Rain and thunderstorms are expected to
move across northern Alabama. Some these could be strong to
marginally severe producing large hail and damaging winds. Wetting
rains are expected on the fuels in the afternoon. Relative
humidity values will drop only to between 50 and 60 percent in the
afternoon. Southwesterly to southerly transport winds around 10
mph are expected. Mixing heights will be lower only climbing to
between 4000 and 4500 feet in the afternoon.

Fog potential over the next few days: None is expected.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None are expected.
