Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
1242 PM CDT Sat Jul 19 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Daily chances of thunderstorms continue, which will be scattered
in nature. Therefore, confidence in wetting rains is low. However,
storms will be capable of producing heavy rainfall. Therefore, if
a storm forms and moves over a site, then wetting rains are
likely. Otherwise, dispersions are forecast to be good as mixing
heights remain 7000 ft or greater with transport winds around 8-15
mph.

Fog potential over the next few days: Low chance of patchy fog
overnight if clearing occurs. However, lingering cloud cover
should discourage fog formation.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None at this time.
