.DISCUSSION...
High pressure will be moving into the region today into Thursday.
Low overcast will be slow to dissipate today as a result. The
high will also keep transport winds light, smoke dispersion
poor and mixing heights
Mixing heights will remain at or below 3100 ft AGL with fair smoke
dispersion. As high pressure shifts east through the area on
Wednesday, transport winds will turn southerly at 5-10 mph with
generally poor smoke dispersion. Mixing heights will generally
remain below 3000 ft AGL for most areas.
Fog potential over the next few days: Some ridges and mountaintops
may experience patchy freezing fog early this morning due to the low
overcast.
Potential for Red Flag Conditions: Not expected.
