.DISCUSSION...
A line of thunderstorms will drop southeast this evening, and will
be capable of gusty winds and perhaps some hail. The risk of a
tornado is very low. One more mild day is expected on Saturday
before an Arctic cold front arrives Sunday morning. Windy conditions
will develop on Sunday with north winds gusting at 20-30 mph. Along
with much colder temperatures, there is a low chance of showers and
perhaps even a few flurries Sunday night in far northeast Alabama. A
hard freeze is expected Sunday night and again on Monday night with
near record or record low temperatures.
Fog potential over the next few days: Patchy fog is expected late
tonight into early Saturday morning.
Potential for Red Flag Conditions: Not expected.
