Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
132 AM CDT Sat Jun 7 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Fog is already developing in the valleys this morning and patchy
fog is possible elsewhere, but will dissipate with sunrise. Strong
to severe storms are expected this afternoon and again overnight.
Storms will produce a wetting rain today and an unsettled weather
pattern will persist through the rest of the week. Mixing heights
will be around 3,000ft this weekend, but with transport winds
westerly around 15 mph, dispersions will be good.

Fog potential over the next few days: Patchy fog this morning,
especially in the valleys.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None at this time.
