...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of north central Alabama in the vicinity of
  Indian Creek including the following county, Madison.

* WHEN...Until 100 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of Indian Creek and adjacent land areas is
  imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 940 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated that heavy rain from
    previous thunderstorms has resulted in excessive runoff.
    Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. Between 1
    and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Huntsville, Madison, Redstone Arsenal, Triana, Marshall Space
    Flight Center and Harvest.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
