...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Alabama, including the following
  county, DeKalb.

* WHEN...Until 430 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 126 PM CDT, gauge reports indicated that the Big Wills
    Creek has reached 9.9 feet due to runoff from heavy rain from
    storms earlier this morning. Flooding is about to occur or is
    already occurring.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Fort Payne, Rainsville, Henagar, Crossville, Sylvania, Fyffe,
    Geraldine, Ider, Valley Head, Hammondville, Mentone, Pine
    Ridge, Lakeview, Guest, Lebanon, Collbran, Peeks Corner,
    Skirum, Chigger Hill and Desoto State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
