...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM CDT THIS EVENING...
...REPLACES FLASH FLOOD WARNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall.

* WHERE...A portion of north central Alabama, including the
  following counties, Limestone and Madison.

* WHEN...Until 1015 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 807 PM CDT, the public reported continued runoff and
    flooded roads due to heavy rain from thunderstorms. Between 2
    and 4 inches of rain fell from the storms this afternoon, but
    no further rainfall is expected this evening for Limestone
    and Madison Counties.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Huntsville, Madison, Meridianville, Moores Mill, Redstone
    Arsenal, Hazel Green, Harvest, University Of Alabama In
    Huntsville, Alabama A And M University, Marshall Space Flight
    Center, Toney, Capshaw, Farley and Holland Gin.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
