The National Weather Service in Huntsville has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southern Morgan County in north central Alabama...

* Until 1130 AM CDT.

* At 819 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across central Morgan County. Between 1 and 3 inches of
  rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 1.5 inches in
  1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible
  in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Decatur, Hartselle, Redstone Arsenal, Priceville, Falkville,
  Somerville, Cole Springs, Lacon, Massey and Valhermoso Springs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
