...New Record Cool Maximum Temperature at Hastings...

Thanks to widespread cloud cover and periods of rain, the high
temperature only reached 68 degrees at Hastings Municipal Airport
on Saturday, August 30th. This breaks the previous record of 69
degrees which was set in 1918.

Temperature records at Hastings date back to 1907.
