Additional snow accumulations up to 22 inches. Winds gusting as high as 65 mph. * WHERE...A portion of central California. * WHEN...Until 10 AM PST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning commute. Very strong winds could cause extensive tree damage. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The highest snow amounts are expected above 8,000 feet in elevation. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1. Persons should delay all travel if possible. If travel is absolutely necessary, drive with extreme caution and be prepared for sudden changes in visibility.
