...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN MARIPOSA AND
CENTRAL TUOLUMNE COUNTIES THROUGH 645 PM PDT...

At 615 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles west of Tioga Pass, or 14 miles southwest of Twin Lakes, moving
northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Glen Aulin High Sierra Camp, Tenaya Lake, and May Lake High Sierra
Camp.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
