...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL MARIPOSA AND CENTRAL
MADERA COUNTIES THROUGH 515 PM PDT...

At 441 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles northwest of Bootjack, or 19 miles west of Yosemite South
Entrance, moving south at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Pea size hail, lightning and brief heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Bootjack, Yosemite Lakes, and Mariposa.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
