...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN TULARE AND EAST
CENTRAL FRESNO COUNTIES THROUGH 245 PM PDT...
At 217 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 15
miles west of Onion Valley Campground, or 23 miles west of
Independence, moving southeast at 5 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Roaring River Ranger Station.
