...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 2
AM PDT MONDAY...

* WHAT...West winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected.

* WHERE...Mojave Desert Slopes.

* WHEN...From 2 PM this afternoon to 2 AM PDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
  Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
  especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Highways impacted include, but are not
  limited to SRs 14, 58, and 178, as well as U.S. 395.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and
avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution
if you must drive.

* WHAT...West winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.

* WHERE...Indian Wells Valley and Mojave Desert.

* WHEN...From 2 PM this afternoon to 2 AM PDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Highways impacted include, but are not
  limited to SR 14, 58, and 178, as well as U.S. 395.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
