* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with high temperatures up to
  104. Overnight lows in the 70s to the lower 80s.

* WHERE...Bakersfield, Buena Vista, Coalinga - Avenal,
  Fresno-Clovis, Fresno-Tulare Foothills, South End San Joaquin
  Valley, South End Sierra Foothills, and West Side Mountains South
  of 198.

* WHEN...Until 8 AM PDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
  extreme heat and high humidity events.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car
interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
