.DISCUSSION...
Warmer than average temperatures will continue through the forecast
period, rising to the mid to upper 70s each afternoon. The resulting
minRH values are expected around 25 percent. Overnight recoveries
are expected near 60 percent, but may take longer to reach these values
due to a longer release of heat from the surrounding rock faces.
Eye level winds are primarily expected from the south to
southwest up to 8 mph each afternoon, then becoming light overnight,
but variable due to the fires location at the confluence of multiple
canyons. Surrounding ridge winds will be 15 to 20 mph Monday then
slightly lower at 10 to 15 mph Tuesday. Mixing heights will rise near
9500 feet on Monday, then further above 10000 feet on Tuesday.
