.DISCUSSION...
A disturbance is now moving through the region and will continue
to produce significant precipitation. Snow levels will remain at
around 9000 feet before dropping later this weekend. There is a
Flood Watch out for the Mountains and Desert of Central
California due to expected excessive rainfall over the course of
this storm for elevations below the snow line. Precipitation will
likely continue until Monday, and may clear out by Tuesday
evening. Brief periods of strong winds will also accompany the
precipitation across the ridge-tops.
