.DISCUSSION...
Temperatures drop today and tomorrow as a storm approaches. A
Winter Storm Watch is in effect from 1 AM Thursday morning through
4 AM Friday morning as snow is expected above 7,000 feet with
levels to drop to around 5,000 by Friday morning. In the Sierra
Foothills, West Side Hills, and portions of the Kern County
Mountains, there is a Marginal (5-15 percent) Risk of Excessive
Rainfall on Thursday. Winds pick up along the ridgetops beginning
this evening as the system moves closer.

Sky/weather.........Partly sunny (50-60 percent).
Max temperature.....49-54.
Min humidity........38-48 percent.
Eye level winds.....South to Southeast winds up to 5 mph.
Surrounding ridge...South 17 to 21 mph.
