Dry weather with seasonal temperatures will give way to significant cooling this weekend as winter-like conditions return to Central California. A chance of rain for the San Joaquin Valley and snow likely over the Sierra Nevada and adjacent foothills on Saturday. Strong winds also expected during the storms passage as well as a slight chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon and early evening. Next week will see a return to quiet weather. .TONIGHT... Sky/weather.........Mostly cloudy (75-85 percent). Chance of snow showers and slight chance of thunderstorms in the evening, then snow likely overnight. Min temperature.....25-27.
