Chance of a Wetting rain across the Eastern Portions of Kern and
Tulare County on Today, ranging from slight (10-20 percent
probability) along the Sierra Nevada and Tehachapi mountains to
moderate (40-60 percent probability) in southeast Kern County,
especially south of Highway 58. Sunday will see a 5-10% chance
of afternoon thunderstorms east of Highway 14. Abnormally cool
weather continues with a warming trend going into the mid-week
period. Wind gusts remain diurnal and terrain-driven. Minimum
relative humidity of 25-35 percent in the San Joaquin Valley
and 10-15 percent in the Mojave Desert.
