.DISCUSSION...
A cooling trend will continue into next week as a series of
systems brings cooler air to the region from the northwest.
Stronger winds are anticipated along the Sierra crest and in the
Mojave Desert today as the first of these systems tracks into the
Great Basin. The second of these systems will move into central
California Monday through Thursday, with favorable chances for
widespread precipitation, especially from late Monday through
Early Wednesday. Wind Advisory is in effect for the Mojave Slopes
from 11 AM today through 5 AM Sunday. Winter Storm Watch in effect
for the Sierra Nevada from 11 AM Monday through 5 PM Wednesday.
