.DISCUSSION...
A gradual warming trend will take place this week, with
afternoon highs approaching season averages by midweek. The
warming temperatures will cause minRH values to decrease to
20 to 25 percent for much of the area under 6000 feet; minRH in
the desert areas will remain less tan 10 percent. The current
atmospheric pattern will also cause steady gusty conditions
through the week in typical wind-prone areas including Pacheco
Pass, Lake Isabella, and the Mojave Desert Slopes. Pacific
moisture moving up the Sierra has a slight chance to result in
isolated showers and thunderstorms along the crest each afternoon
through Wednesday, with the greatest probabilities in the high
country near Yosemite National Park.
