.DISCUSSION...
A gradual warming trend will continue through the weekend with
afternoon highs hovering near season averages. The warming
temperatures will cause minRH values to decrease to
20 to 25 percent for much of the area under 6000 feet; localized
values less than 20 percent are possible in the San Joaquin
Valley. MinRH in the desert areas will remain less tan 10 percent.
The current atmospheric pattern will also cause steady gusty
conditions through the week in typical wind-prone areas including
Pacheco Pass, Lake Isabella, and the Mojave Desert Slopes during
the afternoons. Pacific moisture moving up the Sierra has a
chance to result in isolated showers and thunderstorms along the
crest this afternoon, with the greatest probabilities in the
high country near Yosemite National Park.
