.Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...
A strong low pressure system passing north of the islands will
bring strong to gale force south to southwest winds, low
visibility in heavy rain, as well as strong to severe
thunderstorms through Friday. The threat for thunderstorms and
severe winds will decrease over waters around Kauai and Oahu
overnight, but persist elsewhere. Much improved weather is
anticipated by the weekend as high pressure builds far northwest
of the islands.

.REST OF TONIGHT...Southwest winds 25 to 35 knots. Seas 11 to
15 feet. Wave Detail: West southwest 10 feet at 7 seconds, north
8 feet at 13 seconds and west northwest 5 feet at 11 seconds.
Occasional showers and scattered thunderstorms. Some
thunderstorms may produce damaging windss.
.FRIDAY...West southwest winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 9 to 13 feet.
Wave Detail: North 8 feet at 13 seconds, west southwest 7 feet at
6 seconds and northwest 5 feet at 9 seconds. Scattered heavy
showers with a chance of thunderstorms. Some thunderstorms may
produce gusty windss.
