.Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...
A low will settle roughly 500 nm northwest of Kauai Wednesday.
Gentle to moderate south to southeast winds will prevail over the
western half of the state through the rest of the week while
moderate to locally fresh southeast winds persist over the eastern
half of the state. Chance of heavy showers and thunderstorms hold
into Thursday. The low will shift north Friday into the weekend.

.TODAY...Southeast winds 10 to 15 knots around Kauai and Oahu,
becoming south winds 10 to 15 knots. Elsewhere, east to southeast
winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 5 to 7 feet. Wave Detail:East
southeast 4 feet at 6 seconds. Scattered showers with isolated
thunderstorms.
.TONIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY...South southeast winds 10 to 15 knots
around Kauai and Oahu. Elsewhere southeast 15 to 20 knots. Seas 5
to 7 feet. Wave Detail:East southeast 4 feet at 7 seconds.
Scattered showers with isolated thunderstorms.
.THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY...South southeast winds 10 to 15 knots
around Kauai and Oahu. Elsewhere, east southeast winds 15 to 20
knots. Seas 5 to 7 feet. Scattered showers.
.SATURDAY...Southeast winds to 10 knots around Kauai...east
southeast winds 15 to 20 knots elsewhere. Seas 5 to 8 feet,
subsiding to 5 to 6 feet. Scattered showers.
