Generalized Statewide Coastal Waters Forecast for Hawaii

.Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...
 High pressure far northeast of the islands will gradually weaken
and move southeast slowly over the weekend. This will continue to
produce moderate to locally strong trade winds over the majority
of the coastal waters through early Sunday. A surface trough
could potentially form near the SE waters early next week and
move NW over the rest of the waters, disrupting the trade winds
and increasing the chance of thunderstorms. A cold front could
approach the NW waters by Tuesday afternoon.
