Generalized Statewide Coastal Waters Forecast for Hawaii

.Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...
 An area of high pressure will remain north of the Hawaii region,
producing gentle to moderate easterly winds today, then
decreasing and veering more southeasterly to southerly Tuesday to
Wednesday as another cold front moves into the region from the
northwest. This front may move into the western Hawaiian islands
late Wednesday into Thursday, then diminish by Friday.

.TODAY...East winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 5 to 7 feet. Wave
Detail: East 5 feet at 8 seconds and north northwest 3 feet at
12 seconds. Isolated showers.
.TONIGHT...East winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 5 to 6 feet. Wave
Detail: East 5 feet at 8 seconds and northwest 3 feet at
12 seconds. Isolated showers.
.TUESDAY...East southeast winds 7 to 10 knots to Kauai...east
15 to 20 knots elsewhere. Seas 5 to 7 feet. Wave Detail: East
4 feet at 8 seconds and northwest 4 feet at 13 seconds. Isolated
showers.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...South southeast winds 7 to 10 knots. Seas 6 to
9 feet. Wave Detail: Northwest 6 feet at 14 seconds and east
4 feet at 8 seconds. Isolated showers.
.WEDNESDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 7 to 10 feet.
Isolated showers.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...West southwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 6 to
9 feet. Scattered showers.
.THURSDAY...Alenuihaha Channel, southwest winds 7 to 10 knots,
becoming variable less than 10 knots. Elsewhere, north northeast
winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 6 to 9 feet. Scattered showers through
the night, then isolated showers through the day.
.FRIDAY...Southeast winds 7 to 10 knots. Seas 6 to 9 feet,
subsiding to 5 to 7 feet. Isolated showers.
