083 FXHW01 KWNH 010710 PMDHI Hawaii Extended Forecast Discussion NWS Weather Prediction Center College Park MD 310 AM EDT Fri Aug 1 2025 Valid 00Z Sat 02 Aug 2025 - 00Z Sat 09 Aug 2025 Hawaii over the next few days will remain situated in between a surface high pressure system to the north and multiple tropical lows including Tropical Storm Iona and the remnants of Keli that are passing south of the state. This pattern will continue a tight pressure gradient and yield breezy to locally strong easterly island trades. Moisture should be limited, while the inversion aloft should stay low under an upper ridge, leading to only a few passing showers. Winds may ease a bit to more moderate to breezy levels early next week, but other than that there does not appear to be much change to the pattern in the next several days. By mid-later next week though, will continue to monitor potential for any lingering lingering energy and wrapping moisture from current Tropical Storm Gil that is forecast to approach and pass to the northeast of the state.
