The latest model and ensemble guidance for Hawaii continues to
favor mean upper ridging persisting over the state with light to
moderate trades for the next week, with some variability in speed
and direction as a couple of cold fronts pass to the north of the
state. Showers may favor windward locations at times, but should
be very light and scattered in nature. A front approaching the
islands around the middle to latter part of next week may bring a
slight uptick in showery activity, especially for western islands.
