...Wet pattern again on tap this week...

Models and ensembles still overall agree that upper troughing
now just east of the islands will further weaken and continue to
shift slowly away to the east, just as island trades gradually
increase as Pacific surface high pressure bridges to the north of
the state. Expect a generally wet trade pattern early week given
lingering moisture. An upper trough/closed low and organzied
surface system genesis remains forecast to dig just to the west
of the state into mid-later this week. Veering lead flow to
southeasterly to southerly winds over the state should offer
potential for renewed boundary pooling moisture and showers that
may linger into next weekend as the system ejects and weakens.
