Hawaii Extended Forecast Discussion

Valid 00Z Tue Nov 26 2024 - 00Z Tue Dec 03 2024

Some light showers may continue on Monday as a weak front moves
through the central part of the state and dissipates. The dying
front will shift winds to be out of the north but they should
remain light. By Tuesday a weak surface ridge is forecast to set
up north of the state, causing winds to veer toward the
east-northeast. Generally dry conditions are likely to continue,
but any showers that do develop would favor windward and mountain
areas. Moisture should become even more suppressed by
Thursday-Friday as a mid-upper high comes overhead. Light to
moderate trades and mostly dry weather are likely to continue into
the weekend, and by early next week trades look to decrease
somewhat.
