...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN GRIMES...
NORTHEASTERN BRAZOS...WESTERN MADISON AND NORTHWESTERN WALKER
COUNTIES THROUGH 1115 PM CDT...

At 1038 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 9 miles northeast of Camp
Creek Lake to 7 miles southwest of Madisonville. Movement was south
at around 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.24

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Madisonville, Normangee, Iola, and North Zulch.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
southeastern Texas.
