...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN FORT BEND...NORTHERN
BRAZORIA AND SOUTH CENTRAL HARRIS COUNTIES THROUGH 915 PM CDT...

At 848 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over Westbury, or over Bellaire. These storms were
nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Northwestern Pearland, Sugar Land, Missouri City, Stafford, Bellaire,
West University Place, Hunters Creek Village, Bunker Hill Village,
Piney Point Village, Greenway / Upper Kirby Area, Fresno, Town West,
Memorial Park, University Place, First Colony, Spring Valley,
Astrodome Area, Afton Oaks / River Oaks Area, Neartown / Montrose,
and western Greater Heights.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
