  Galveston Bay...

At 1238 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated a line of showers and a few
embedded thunderstorms stretching from Smith Point to Texas City to
West Bay, moving southeast at 10 knots. Look for winds to shift to
the north at 20 to 30 knots for a brief time period as this
precipitation passes. In addition, heavy downpours may limit
visibility below 2nm at times.

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
