At 1145 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from Rosharon to San Luis Pass to 6
nm southeast of Surfside Jetty, moving northeast at 25 knots.

  Galveston Bay and Galveston Causeway around 1215 PM CDT.
  Eagle Point, The Texas City Dike, and Offatts Bayou around 1220 PM

  Galveston Bay Entrance around 1235 PM CDT.
  Trinity Bay, southwestern East Galveston Bay, Tabbs Bay, Black
  Duck Bay, and Upper San Jacinto Bay around 1240 PM CDT.
  Scott Bay, Crystal Bay, and Mitchell Bay around 1245 PM CDT.
  Burnet Bay and Smith Point around 1250 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
