A wet weekend with increasing chances of thunderstorms on Friday and Saturday remains the expectation throughout the course of the event. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will start to develop across the area on Friday morning, with rain chances rising to 40% in the afternoon. Rain chances increase further as the front pushes towards the area overnight into Saturday morning. Widespread rainfall with the potential for some strong to severe storms will be possible through late Saturday morning, after which conditions will begin to clear with the departure of the front. Gusty conditions are expected through Friday afternoon ahead of the front with wind gusts reaching around 30 mph at times. Winds will shift from the south to the northwest as the front moves through on Saturday afternoon, with gusts of 20 to 25 mph. .FRIDAY...
