For the 4th of July, expecting the main story to be the heat. Temperatures will top out in the mid 90s during the afternoon hours with heat indices in the triple digits. There will be a southerly breeze around 5-10 mph (with a few gusts near 15 mph possible) and a slim chance for an isolated shower/storm to develop during the afternoon hours. By the time the fireworks show starts, rain chances will be gone but the heat will remain.
