.DISCUSSION...
Drier weather with a gradual warming trend can be expected this
week. When these drier conditions coincide with windier periods,
there may be some isolated concerns of elevated fire weather
conditions through the week, particularly on Friday. For today,
minimum RH values look to fall into the 25 to 35 percent range
across inland Southeast Texas. Fortunately, winds around or below
10 mph will mitigate fire weather concerns somewhat. Tomorrow,
look for stronger winds with gusts into the upper teens, but with
minimum RH around or above 45 percent. Patchy fog may begin to crop
up around the area late tonight if moisture does increase quickly
enough, but dense fog is not anticipated.
