.DISCUSSION...
A warming trend will prevail through the week, along with alternating
windier days and drier days. Locally elevated fire weather conditions
may emerge from this pattern, particularly in the area well to the
west of the Houston metro. Today will feature stronger winds, but
will be mitigated be some higher humidity around or higher than 45
percent. Tomorrow much drier air will be the highlight, with winds
not as strong as today. On Friday, neither windy nor drier conditions
will overwhelmingly dominate, but this does open the door for an
overlap of strong enough winds with dry enough conditions for elevated
fire weather concerns to emerge.
