.DISCUSSION...
Clouds have returned across Southeast Texas, and will keep
today`s high temperatures in the 30s and 40s again. The air in
place remains fairly dry, but cool temperatures will mitigate how
far relative humidity values will fall through the day. Minimum RH
values look to be in the 30s and lower 40s this afternoon. More
full RH recovery is expected at the coast tonight, but that amount
of recovery will decrease farther inland. Well inland, max
overnight RH only looks to reach to around 70 percent. Through
this time, winds look to remain northeasterly.
Moisture continues to increase through late tonight and Saturday,
and gradually rain chances will work their way back into the
picture. Rain potential peaks Saturday night, especially coastward
of Brenham, Conroe, and Livingston.
